Saint Vincent Archabbey

Retreat Description: As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, during this weekend retreat, we remember the simple beautiful invocation of the Litany of the Sacred Heart, “Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like unto Thine.”  Saint Benedict lived long before the Revelation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to Saint Margaret Mary, but he already highlighted a key virtue of the Sacred Heart: humility.  In this retreat we will reflect on humility in Benedictine spirituality and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Retreat Master: Father Boniface Hicks O.S.B., has a master of arts and master of divinity degree from Saint  Vincent Seminary, as well as a Ph.D. in computer science from Pennsylvania State University.
