  • Today is Giving Tuesday. What is Giving Tuesday? The Tuesday after Thanksgiving, after all the “best discounts” have been offered, Giving Tuesday turns our attention to charity. Studies show that 46% of donors worldwide have not heard of Giving Tuesday. Christians today are giving 2.5% of their income, while Christians in the Great Depression gave 3.3%. However, faith-based nonprofits now receive the largest percentage of #GivingTuesday online donations.

Today is the day for you to say yes to what we do here at the Seminary and the Institute for Ministry Formation (IMF). We all need help to deepen our spiritual lives. Whether it’s help to reflect and pray, tuning in to a lecture, or taking a course, the IMF stands ready to bring these things beyond the walls of Saint Vincent, to you. Any gift, great our small, helps these efforts. Would you be bold enough to be generous today? Is God calling you to increase your giving to further His kingdom? By supporting the Institute for Ministry Formation (IMF), you will help us gather people together as a community, grow and support people in their faith, and help guide people in their response to God’s call by forming their hearts and minds. Thank you for your support of the IMF! #IMF #saintvincent
