Fr. Boniface Hicks Gives Presentation to BLS Freshmen

Fr. Boniface Hicks, OSB recently gave a presentation to the Benedictine Leadership Studies (BLS) freshmen on the Divine Office. The presentation was a formative and meaningful  introduction to the leadership formation they will receive throughout their four years at Saint Vincent College.

BLS is a virtue-based, ethical structure for the study of leadership. The program is grounded in the Benedictine tradition and involves participation in high level academics as well as service. Benedictine Leadership Studies allows students to analyze who they are as individuals called to serve the common good of their community as well as to develop a meaningful understanding of God’s purpose for their lives. This is accomplished using the teachings of the Catholic Church and the Rule of Saint Benedict as guides. To learn more about BLS, please see the Saint Vincent College website.

The IMF looks forward to continuing our collaboration with the Benedictine Leadership Studies students and faculty, especially Dr. Krom and Dr. Foss.
