Record-Breaking Number of Incoming IMF Students

The IMF has been growing ever since its first semester in the Fall of 2019. This fall, the number of students is larger than it has ever been previously: 117 total students are currently enrolled in IMF classes, including 51 incoming students! Additionally, we were excited to welcome our first group of students into the catechetics program.

Among these 51 new students, we welcome 11 students participating in our first Enlighten! catechetics cohort with the Diocese of Greensburg; 6 FOCUS alumni, representing our 3rd FOCUS cohort; 10 students we met at in-person events during the summer of 2024; and many more students who found the IMF programs on their own while searching for reputable programs that offer formation in spiritual direction, catechetics, or catholic theology.

Our 117 current students represent every vocation and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from their lives into our online classrooms. Our faculty regularly remark on the quality of student participation and discussions from IMF students. While many of our students are lay people, both married and single, we also have 9 priests, 6 permanent deacons, 1 transitional deacon, 3 seminarians, 2 religious brothers, and 7 privately consecrated or religious sisters. Our students have backgrounds in psychology, law, education, medicine, technology, hospitality, ministry, homemaking, and more; and they join us virtually from Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Washington, DC, and from the provinces of British Columbia and Ontario in Canada.
