Dr. John Gresham

Faculty

Dr. John Gresham, Ph.D. is a retired seminary professor (Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St Louis and Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit.). His theological training includes his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Wheaton College and Ph.D. from Baylor University as well as a certificate from the Alleluia School of Spiritual Direction in Augusta, GA. Baptized in the Holy Spirit as a teenager, Dr. Gresham began his spiritual journey in the Jesus movement, spent time in charismatic and Pentecostal churches, then in the Episcopal Church on his way to full communion with the Roman Catholic Church. Dr. Gresham offers spiritual direction, teaches college and seminary courses as an adjunct, serves on the board of Pentecost Today USA and remains active in ecumenical dialogue. He leads the Diocese of Venice Catholic Charismatic Commission, chairs the Alpha Core Team for St. Katharine Drexel Parish and emcees a monthly charismatic prayer meeting. Dr. Gresham’s books include Charles Finney’s Doctrine of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Jesus 101 and Holy Spirit 101.

Dr. Gresham teaches Praying Sacred Scripture in the IMF’s catechetics program.
